Eaton Premier Supplier Award Winner

The Eaton supplier award program recognizes its top suppliers for their contributions in the areas of cost management, innovation, quality, delivery, and other attributes delivered in 2010 that contributed to Eaton’s success.  This is our sixth year of recognizing our best suppliers and Eaton is pleased to confirm that your company is being recognized as a Premier Supplier Award recipient.  Let me be the first to congratulate your company on winning this prestigious award.  You are part of an elite group which represents the top 0.05% of Eaton’s global supply base!  Please share this great news with all of your associates. 

As a recipient of the Premier Supplier Award, your company qualifies as a finalist for the Eaton Corporation Supplier Excellence Award.  The Excellence award is given to those suppliers who have differentiated themselves from the Premier Award winners in key performance areas. 

You are invited to attend Eaton’s Supplier Meeting in Cleveland, Ohio on Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at which time we will acknowLedge your company as an Award Winner.  During the meeting, the Excellence Award Winners will be announced and presented by Eaton’s CEO - Sandy Cutler and myself.  Similar to our 2010 meeting, we have broadened the scope of our meeting to include other strategic suppliers in addition to our Award Winners.  In addition, we are expanding the meeting to include a business group break-out session the next morning on Wednesday, March 30, 2011.  You will be joining the business group that originally nominated you for the award.  Details will be provided to you at the time of your check-in on March 29. 

The meeting will be held at the Marriott, Cleveland Downtown at Key Center, located at 127 Public Square, Cleveland, OH 44114 USA.  On Tuesday, March 29, meeting check-in begins at 10:30am with a buffet luncheon available between 11:00am-12:15pm.  The meeting will begin promptly at 12:30pm and conclude at approximately 5:30pm.

Immediately following Tuesday’s meeting will be an hour-long opportunity to network with other attendees, including Eaton leaders and supply chain management.  Light appetizers and beverages will be served. 

The agenda for the meeting will include such things as Eaton’s global economic outlook, Eaton’s business overviews, and supply chain strategic goals and initiatives.  More details regarding the agenda will follow as we approach the meeting.  However, we wanted to provide ample time for you to save the dates on your calendar, confirm your attendance, reserve your hotel and schedule your transportation.

1. Award Inscription – please respond by Friday, February 4, 2011:

To ensure that your award is properly inscribed, please send an email to Margery Ward mdw@nuveragroup、com with your company name as you want it to appear on your award.  Please include the appropriate case letters, spaces and punctuation so that we may exactly replicate the name.  For example: A. B. Widgett Co., Inc.

2.Register your company’s attendees by Friday February 25, 2011 using this web link:

Your company may register up to 3 attendees.  However, due to capacity constraints, we can only guarantee 2 attendees for each of our Premier Award Suppliers using this process.  The other attendee will be placed on a waiting list until such time their registration is confirmed in writing. 

Please register all attendees for the meeting at your earliest convenience since additional attendees will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis as space becomes available.

Near the end of the on-line registration process, each company will be able to provide input on what they would like to hear about during the meeting.
